Tune-Ups
Does your bike need a tune-up? Bring it in to Chain Reaction Cycles, and we will treat it with our TLC. Our 12-point tune-up includes:
- adjusting front and rear brakes
- adjusting front and rear derailleurs
- adjusting wheel cones
- adjusting bottom bracket
- minor wheel truing
- cleaning and lubricating drivetrain
- lubricating all pivot points
- pulling and lubricating cables
- tightening all nuts and bolts
- wiping and polishing frame
- inflating tires to proper pressure
We use the finest bicycle-specific greases, lubes, and polishes to keep your bike running smoothly long after your tune-up is complete.
Overhauls
Is water and mud a major part of your bike’s diet? Then you might want to consider Chain Reaction Cycle’s overhaul! It’s our complete 12-point tune-up PLUS we inspect, clean, and repack all bearings in the front and rear hubs, headset and bottom bracket. We recommend inspecting your bike’s hubs, headset, and bottom bracket periodically to prevent premature wear and tear.
